1. Overview & Offline-First Architecture

InvoiceFine is engineered strictly as an offline-first application for Indian small businesses, retail shops, and service providers. Your core commercial records—including customer khata ledgers, invoices, sales totals, item catalogs, HSN/SAC codes, and GST numbers—are stored locally inside a private SQLite database on your device.

We do not operate remote proprietary servers that harvest, synchronize, or monetize your day-to-day transactional business records.

2. Google Drive Cloud Backup & Google User Data (Optional)

InvoiceFine offers an optional, user-initiated Google Drive Cloud Backup & Restore feature (InvoiceFine Pro) to protect your business records against device damage or loss:

• Authentication & Scopes: When you connect your Google Account, we use official Google OAuth 2.0 authentication to request access exclusively to the restricted application data folder (https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.appdata).
• User Data Retrieved: We retrieve your basic Google profile information (Name, Email Address, and Avatar URL) solely to display your active connected Google Drive account status within the app settings. This information is saved locally on your device and is never sent to any third-party server.
• Storage Location: Backup archives are uploaded directly from your phone into your personal Google Drive account's private appDataFolder. No third party or InvoiceFine developer can access, read, or download your Google Drive backup files.
• Disconnection & Deletion: You can disconnect Google Drive at any time from Settings > Backup & Restore with a single tap. You can delete backups at any time directly through Google Drive or by contacting us.

3. Information We Do NOT Collect

InvoiceFine does NOT access, sell, rent, track, or share:

• Your personal contact list or phone address book.
• Your item inventory pricing, purchase costs, or profit margins.
• Your bank accounts, UPI PINs, or private financial credentials.
• Your hand-drawn digital signatures (these are saved exclusively in your local phone storage).

4. Device Permissions & Usage

InvoiceFine requests only essential permissions necessary to provide retail features:

• Camera: Used strictly to scan barcodes and QR codes for quick POS billing, and optionally to capture business logos. Camera frames are processed on-device and never recorded or transmitted.
• Storage / Media: Required to export PDF invoices, Excel spreadsheets, and local .ifbackup files to your internal downloads.
• Bluetooth / Nearby Devices: Used solely to discover and pair with ESC/POS thermal receipt printers (58mm / 80mm).
• Notifications: Optional local alerts for business khata payment reminders and daily auto-backup status.

5. In-App Subscriptions & Payments

Pro subscription purchases are handled securely through Google Play Billing via the RevenueCat SDK. We do not process, store, or receive payment card numbers or banking data. Transaction verification uses anonymous app-specific identifiers provided by Google Play.

6. Security & Data Retention

Since your database resides on your local device, you maintain full control over your business data. Uninstalling the application will permanently erase local data unless you have created an offline file backup or enabled Google Drive Cloud Backup.
